#Tebow – What He’s Teaching You About How to Get Endorsements

I was just checking out this article from Bleacher Report about how Tebow's been asked to speak out on LGBT (as in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people) bullying, and it made me think about why he's getting so many endorsement opportunities.

You see, even though endorsement opportunities are indeed fairly scarce for football players, there are some things you can do to put yourself in position to get some, if you make it to the league.

Check out this article from sportsnetworker.com about the on-field and off-field attributes an athlete should have to be considered for endorsements.

I thought I'd save you some time and list the attributes below.  After you read through them, it's pretty obvious why he's getting so many opportunities.

If you make it to the league, keep these things in mind to give yourself the best shot to make some off-the-field dough.

On-field attributes

  1. Performance quality
  2. Winning record
  3. Skill
  4. Style
  5. Potential

Off-field attributes

  1. Personality
  2. Physical attractiveness
  3. Uniqueness or unique personal background
  4. Role model
  5. Relationship with fans
