The National Bowl & D2-D3 Pro Day are Secret Weapons for Small School Players via @sportsagentblog

I just wanted to send a quick shout out to Darren Heitner over at Sports Agent Blog for shining the light on the National Bowl and D2/D3 Pro Days.

These tools have been put out there to help small-school players get the exposure they need to get a legitimate shot at playing pro football, and to help pro scouts find these often under-exposed "diamonds in the rough."

Being a former small-school college football player myself, I know how little exposure guys at these levels can get, and I'm glad the National Bowl and the D2-D3 Pro Days are in place.  (just wish they were there when I played, but I digress…)
All the little paid combines and stuff you can pay to attend are cool, and can help your chances of playing pro a little (not much, trust me), but like Darren said, there's nothing like scouts getting a chance to see you on-the-field, in pads.
Have a fantastic weekend!
