Former NFL linebacker LaVar Arrington wrote a great post today backing up Ray Lewis' notion that crime would rise if there's no NFL football this fall.
He actually made a good point, where he says that there's a lot of kids from disadvantaged environments that use the NFL as a way to stay away from the negative distractions in their faces every day.
I personally think Ray Lewis' dramatic delivery is part of the reason his comment was met with so much resistance and criticism.
